Family is My World...
Hi, I'm Maria and I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what I do!
I've always been a romantic at heart, and I'm so happy to say after a rocky first marriage, I was fortunate enough to meet and marry my true soul mate some years ago.
Even though my first marriage wasn't great; the best thing that came from that was my 3 beautiful boys who I absolutely adore:
and now... I'm even a grandmother - my favourite role of all LOL!
Becoming a celebrant was not something I initially set out to do, but rather, it was a calling that unfolded naturally over time.
My background is diverse, with experiences that range from working in community services to hospitality and resort management.
Through all of these roles, one thing remained constant: my love for connecting with people and supporting them through life’s most significant moments.

"I have always had a deep appreciation for the importance of rituals and ceremonies."
They are powerful expressions of our values, beliefs, and the relationships
that matter most to us.
Whether it’s the joy of a wedding, the solemnity of a funeral, or the celebration of a milestone, these moments are opportunities to honor our connections
with each other and with the divine.

When it came to our own wedding Marc and I knew we wanted to do something a bit different, and so we decided to go with a medieval theme.
It was such a fun, unique way to celebrate our love, and it made our wedding feel like something truly special and totally us.
My faith has always been a guiding force in my life,
and it has inspired me to serve others with compassion, empathy, and love.
I see my work as a celebrant as an extension of this calling,
providing me with the opportunity to walk alongside individuals and families
as they navigate the most meaningful events in their lives.
Life On The Farm:
A Journey Toward
Self Sufficiency.
When I’m not officiating ceremonies, you’ll most likely find me at home on our beautiful property, where Marc and I are working hard to achieve a dream that we hold dear: living a self-sufficient lifestyle.
Our property is more than just a place to live; it’s a reflection of our values and a sanctuary where we cultivate a deep connection with nature, our animals, and each other.

Marc and I have always shared a love for the simple, yet profoundly rewarding lifestyle
that comes from working the land
and caring for animals.
We believe in the importance of sustainable living, not only for our own well-being
but also as a way of honoring the world that God has entrusted to us.
Our journey toward self-sufficiency is an ongoing adventure,
filled with challenges and triumphs that bring us closer to the land and to each other.
